Scientifically Calculated:
Even blending of red and blue LEDs eliminates the time consuming task of repositioning separate colored lights back and forth trying to achieve uniform exposure. 12 to 14 hours per day is all that is necessary for maximum plant health with this wave blended lighting system. This allows distances 6" and less between the LEDs and the plants accelerating photosynthesis. Red and blue wavelengths are for growing and flowering of plants. The typical white plant lights that are very hot is unnecessary and just consume excessive electricity. The purity of the LED generated light lengthens flowering periods. These LEDs turn on instantly and can be turned on by hand each day or work well with all standard lamp timers.
Plants Stay Cooler!
Generally speaking most indoor plants don't like extreme heat. When the temperature gets too high your plants go into a safety mode and drastically reduce their growth production. They stop the transpiration process to avoid losing water. Our LED light gives your plants all the light they need, without the heat of conventional HID lighting. Indoor plants like a temperature of about 85°F. This temperature is easy to maintain with our LED grow light.
LED grow lights promote healthy root systems!
Studies have shown that plants grown under LED lights tend to have more vigorous roots growth. This is especially true when using Hydroponic or Aeroponic grow systems. Specific light wavelengths coupled with cooler operating temperatures appear to be the reason for this, however the exact reason has not been determined. But the results are substantial.
Less Watering!
Using our LED Red Blue Grow Light, your plants will lose less water, letting you extend the time between watering cycles. If you need to leave your plants unattended for a few days, they will fair much better than the same plants would under a HID grow lamp.
Higher Success Rate for Cuttings!
The leaves of plant cuttings are often cropped to reduce water loss until new roots are formed. This becomes far less necessary when using our LED Red Blue Grow Light, since your cuttings aren't exposed to the intense heat of a conventional HID grow lamp. This enables the plant to root more quickly with the full absorption power of uncut leaves.
