Very popular heirloom tomato. This unique heirloom dates back to the 1800’s and was brought here by the Virginian Mennonites from the old country.

Vigorous indeterminate vines produce large, 1-3 lb., yellow fruit that have red streaks running throughout them. The fruit are deep oblate in shape and have a rough shoulder. Mr Stripey Tomato flavor and color make it one of the most popular heirlooms available.

Planting: You should start heirloom tomato plants indoors eight weeks before the desired transplant date, which should be after the last frost date for your area.
